A pair of Staffordshire pearlware bocage figures, circa 1820

£195.00

An enchanting pair of early 19th century Staffordshire pearlware bocage figures on square bases: a young girl holding a tiny lamb and a boy holding a little brown and white puppy, circa 1820. The colours and patterns of their clothing are particularly lovely as are their rosy-cheeked, smiley faces. Blue Walton-esque swirls on the naturalistic bases.

They are in super condition. The bocage is in tact. There are some tiny losses to some of the bocage flowers on the figure of the girl. Transfer of some blue colour onto the left side base of the boy figure from production.
