A handsome antique collector’s cabinet with six drawers and decorative brass handles. It would make such a lovely tabletop chest for storing sewing kit, cards, jewellery etc.
It has hinged arms that would once have allowed all the drawers of the cabinet to be locked with a single key. The right hand lock is still present but there is no key. Beautiful rich patina. Drawers lined in dark green baize.
It is in excellent, solid condition. There are a few signs of wear and marks to the wood. Small area of loss to the corner of the fourth drawer. Discolouration and wear to some of the baize. The baize is missing from the bottom drawer. The bottom drawer has a wooden drawer knob.
