SOLD Georgian bone china tea cups and saucers, circa 1820

£0.00

The prettiest Georgian bone china tea cups and saucers, circa 1820 (six in total). They have a hand coloured overglaze on the palest pink floral pattern and a little bird in the centre of each saucer. They have pedestal bases with, unusually, a moulded pattern around the rim of the base and wonderfully ornate handles.

Not only are they exceptional display pieces but their super condition means they are fully usable for serving the most refined cup of afternoon tea or a dainty lemon mousse with biscotto resting on the saucer!

It is a rare set in remarkably good condition for its age with no chips, cracks or restoration.

Cup diameter 10cm / 4”

Saucer diameter 15cm / 6”
